Game Data Analyst

What you will do

• Establish best practices for data collection, analysis, and reporting for an internal game studio.
• Analyze large and complex datasets to understand player behavior and identify opportunities in engagement, retention, and monetization.
• Translate analytical insights into recommendations for game design, feature development, and the product roadmap.
• Collaborate with game designers, product managers, and developers to embed data-driven strategies throughout the game lifecycle.
• Build and maintain automated dashboards and reports for critical game metrics.
• Use A/B testing to optimize game features and mechanics.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of analytical experience in gaming, technology, or another data-driven industry, working closely with product teams.
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in either R or Python.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, A/B testing, and forecasting methods.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to own the full data chain for the game and turn business problems into analytical or statistical solutions.
