Pro*C Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Provide Level 3 production support for critical applications and take ownership of client needs and requests.
• Analyze code, architecture, business requirements, and system behavior to troubleshoot software issues and identify bugs.
• Implement maintenance changes, enhancements, change controls, and solutions that improve application stability, performance, and data integrity.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend design improvements in collaboration with subject matter experts and architects.
• Coordinate with clients, business stakeholders, incident management, development teams, and internal and external meeting participants.
• Document client communications, issues, findings, solutions, and knowledge-transfer activities.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of professional experience with working knowledge of ANSI C and Pro*C.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Good working knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL.
• Administrative skills on the Linux platform.
• Hands-on experience with G5, Liquibase, Git, Jenkins, and AWS.
• Availability to support client needs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, potentially carrying a company mobile.

Nice to have

• Previous experience with payment system platforms.
• Knowledge of issuing, authorization, clearing, and settlement processes.
• Familiarity with the ISO 8583 message format.
