AI Researcher (Fintech)

Salary: $200,000–$300,000 per year, plus discretionary performance-based bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain foundation models for markets using large-scale market data.
• Improve model data featurization, architecture design, and training dynamics.
• Develop methods for converting model predictions into trading decisions.
• Lead independent research directions within a focused AI research team.
• Collaborate with engineering, hardware, and systems teams to deploy research into production trading systems.

Requirements

• At least two years of professional experience in deep learning research.
• Experience applying deep learning research in any domain, such as robotics, biology, chemistry, physics, audio, or video.
• Strong engineering skills, especially in GPU kernel development or lower-level PyTorch/JAX development.
• Experience with intermediate C++, FPGA/ASIC systems, or high-performance computing is valuable.
• Experience translating methods between different application areas is highly valued.

• Experience with large language models.
