Metrics Business Analyst

Location: On-site at LCSRON TWO, Naval Station Mayport, Jacksonville, Florida 32228, USA. The position requires U.S. citizenship and an active Secret security clearance.

Salary: $66,148–$79,028 gross annually, depending on qualifications, experience, responsibilities, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Analyze ship-part usage, inventory levels, component movement, reports, and database queries across fleet logistics operations.
• Translate business goals into measurable KPIs and develop inventory performance metrics, dashboards, reports, scorecards, graphs, charts, and tables.
• Track serviceable material and component transfers, monitor inventory trends, and recommend process improvements.
• Support inventory and logistics objectives, deliverable plans, database process flows, and changing business requirements.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations and deliver high-level fleet logistics and inventory briefings to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with technical teams and subject-matter experts to clarify requirements and recommend practices based on metrics.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain a DoD clearance.
• U.S. citizenship.
• At least 3 years of experience supporting business management and systems analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• Experience with inventory data analysis, logistics metrics, predictive analysis, performance measures, and KPIs.
• Knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Office Suite, data visualization, senior-level briefings, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.
