Senior Engineer, Software Developer (HDD Manufacturing): Developing automated manufacturing tools, system infrastructure, and analytics solutions for HDD test and validation with an accent on automation, robotics, and productivity improvement. Location: Onsite in Amphoe Si Maha Phot, Thailand, with work locations in Prachin Buri and Bang Pa-In

What you will do
- Develop automated manufacturing tools, process visualization and control systems, robotics integrations, and tester-operation support solutions.
- Provide software and engineering support for test activities focused on productivity, quality, and cost improvement.
- Design, develop, modify, and integrate software systems, including automation and analytics infrastructure.
- Manage software development life cycle activities, releases, process changes, performance reporting, and solution verification.
- Analyze requirements, create programming workflows, research technologies, and resolve complex business and system issues.
- Coordinate with cross-functional developers and international teams across the US, Japan, and Asia; train and develop software analysts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience as a software analyst or in a related function.
- Good command of English.
- Good knowledge of at least one of Golang, JavaScript, Python, Java, or C++.
- Analytical thinking, communication, problem-solving, decision-making, coaching, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of databases, system security, troubleshooting, data analytics, ETL, data structures, or machine learning.
Nice to have
- Experience in HDD manufacturing or the electronics industry.
- Knowledge of HDD processes and technology.
- Knowledge of automation and robotic systems.
- Hands-on experience with technical projects.
