Lead, Business Risk Management (BISO)

Location: Hybrid, onsite 4 days per week, alternating between the NYC and Westport campuses

Salary: $225,000–$375,000 annual wage range, inclusive of base salary and discretionary target bonus; expected base salary is 70%–80% of the range

What you will do

• Act as a security liaison between the Security Team and one or more business departments.
• Assess, communicate, and help mitigate departmental security risks.
• Ensure key security controls are implemented and operating effectively.
• Provide security tools, resources, and training to business departments.
• Drive cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and support a world-class security program.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in security risk management and internal audit, ideally in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of security principles, risk management, internal controls, process improvement, DR/BCP, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience implementing information security and risk management frameworks at department and enterprise levels.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, analytical, and data synthesis skills.
• Working knowledge of NIST 800-53 and ISO 27001/27002; knowledge of Basel II, COSO, or ISO 31000 is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in consulting, information security, operations, or fund administration.
• Knowledge of global capital markets, financial products, regulations, systems, and securities operations.
• CISSP, CISM, or CISA certification.
