Junior Commodities Fundamental Analyst

Location: Geneva, London, Paris, or Singapore

Salary: Minimum base salary of $150,000 if located in New York; discretionary bonuses and benefits may also apply.

What you will do

• Build, develop, and expand fundamental commodity supply and demand models.
• Develop analytical tools and processes for commodities desks.
• Produce ad hoc analysis of short-term market developments to support trade ideas.
• Evaluate and improve market data quality.
• Run and maintain fundamental data operations.
• Prepare required data and processes before market open and contribute to long-term analytical projects.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Econometrics, Applied Economics, or a related subject.
• Experience researching, analyzing, and modelling data, including through an internship or related position.
• Required coding skills in Python.
• Passion for investing and commodity market trends.
• Excellent writing, synthesis, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues across multiple teams and regions and take on varied analytical projects.

Nice to have

• Ease with Excel.
• Prior internship experience in a related position.
