Intern Software Developer (Algorithmic Trading)

Location: Montreal, Canada. The internship is available in any season, requires a preferred season to be indicated in the application, and must last at least 12 weeks.

What you will do

• Develop and deliver custom software solutions that solve complex business problems.
• Work with experienced engineers and mentors on a project with visible business impact.
• Build software and programming projects that support active and ongoing trading.
• Contribute to teams including Data Engineering, Risk, Market Data, Quant Development, and Frontend.
• Participate in a technical training program covering software development in algorithmic trading.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or an equivalent field.
• Currently in the penultimate year of study.
• Knowledge of one or more of Python, C++, Java, Rust, or C.
• Knowledge of Unix systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with a deep passion for technology.
