Systems Engineer, IAM

Salary: $115,000–$135,000 per year, plus bonus and sign-on equity grant

What you will do

• Administer Microsoft Entra ID, including users, groups, roles, application registrations, and enterprise SSO.
• Manage conditional access, MFA, Privileged Identity Management, just-in-time access, and least-privilege workflows.
• Operate hybrid identity across on-premises Active Directory and Entra Connect.
• Manage endpoint compliance and security with Microsoft Intune and Jamf, and administer Exchange Online and Microsoft 365 licensing.
• Build infrastructure-as-code, configuration automation, and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, AWS CDK, SaltStack, GitLab CI/CD, and GitHub Actions.
• Develop PowerShell, Python, or C# tooling and implement monitoring, alerting, and audit logging with Prometheus, Grafana, and cloud-native tools.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering, system administration, or identity and access administration.
• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Entra ID and/or Active Directory, including identity security, conditional access, MFA, and PIM.
• Experience with hybrid identity, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and licensing.
• Experience with or strong motivation to develop infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD automation skills.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and at least one of Python or C#, with C# preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Microsoft certifications such as SC-300 or AZ-104.
• Experience with Microsoft Graph automation, AWS or multi-cloud environments, or DevOps operating-model transitions.
• Experience with cryptocurrency, blockchain, high-performance computing, or capital-intensive industries.
