Salary: $90,000–$135,000 annually

What you will do

  • Support the development, integration, and verification of hydraulic and electromechanical actuation systems.
  • Translate customer and system needs into clear, traceable engineering requirements.
  • Develop verification strategies, requirements traceability documentation, and qualification plans.
  • Create and execute test plans and procedures, then analyze results and prepare technical reports and presentations.
  • Support system integration, troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and technical presentations to stakeholders and customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams across company sites throughout the product development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or another STEM discipline.
  • At least 3 years of engineering experience, preferably in aerospace or defense product development.
  • Experience with product development activities such as requirements development, system design, integration, testing, verification, or validation.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment.
  • Access to U.S. export-controlled information is required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with aerospace actuation, flight control, or other complex aerospace systems.
  • Familiarity with DOORS, Cameo, and other requirements management or systems engineering tools.
  • Experience with safety-critical or mission-critical systems.
  • Hands-on testing experience with hydraulic or electromechanical systems.
  • Experience supporting new product development in the aerospace or defense industry.
