Mobile QA Engineer (Payments)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands. Hybrid work with office attendance twice per week on Wednesday and Thursday.

What you will do

• Design and execute end-to-end tests for mobile payment journeys.
• Validate application behavior across devices, operating system versions, and release cycles.
• Build and maintain automated tests using XCUITest and Espresso alongside manual testing.
• Participate in refinement and raise quality questions before implementation.
• Monitor post-release quality metrics and feed findings back into the development process.
• Support regulatory, security, and audit requirements for payment products.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience testing native or hybrid mobile applications.
• Experience with both Android and iOS, or strong expertise on one platform with exposure to the other.
• Mid-level experience and comfort with a testing split of approximately 60% manual and 40% automation.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs.
• Professional working proficiency in English; Dutch is not required.
• Based in the Netherlands and able to work on site in Amsterdam twice per week on Wednesday and Thursday.

Nice to have

• Experience with Espresso or XCUITest; Appium or Maestro experience is also relevant.
• Experience testing payment systems, mission-critical applications, or high-availability products.
