Physics Subject Matter Expert (Virtual & 3D Science Labs)

Location: Belgrade, Serbia; hybrid work with 2 days in-office and 3 days remote

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate SME workstreams, workloads, priorities, ticketing, and content quality checks.
• Design, review, and oversee interactive virtual and 3D Physics experiments from concept through production readiness.
• Translate scientific, pedagogical, and customer needs into clear requirements for Product, Design, Unity/Development, Learn, and QA teams.
• Review UI/UX, 3D assets, learning flows, and experiment setup for scientific accuracy, usability, learning alignment, and accessibility.
• Support research proposals, presales activities, strategic partnerships, client onboarding, demonstrations, and subject-specific implementation questions.
• Track experiment and learning-content usage for selected institutions and provide reporting when required.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD degree in a relevant discipline such as Biology, Medical Sciences, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Physiology, Education, Learning Sciences, or a related field.
• Experience in subject matter expert work, educational content development, or digital learning products.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across Product, Design, Development, or platform functions.
• Strong leadership, project management, organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to review content, assets, and product flows for educational quality, subject accuracy, usability, and accessibility.
• Resume must be submitted in English.

Nice to have

• Experience working across multiple subject areas or coordinating SME teams in different domains.
• Familiarity with Jira or YouTrack.
• Experience with accessibility standards and inclusive learning design.
