Physics Subject Matter Expert (Virtual & 3D Science Labs)

Location: Istanbul, Turkey. Hybrid work in locations with Constructor offices requires 2 days in-office and 3 days remote; remote work is available in locations without offices.

What you will do

• Supervise SMEs, coordinate workloads and priorities, and maintain content quality across workstreams.
• Coordinate requirements and delivery between SMEs, Product, Design, Unity/Development, Learn, and QA teams.
• Oversee the design, review, and technical readiness of virtual experiments and educational content.
• Review UI/UX, 3D assets, learning flows, and accessibility implementation for scientific and pedagogical accuracy.
• Support research proposals, presales activities, presentations, demonstrations, and strategic client engagements.
• Provide subject-matter guidance for onboarding, implementation, experiment setup, usage tracking, and reporting.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD degree in a relevant discipline such as Biology, Medical Sciences, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Physiology, Education, Learning Sciences, or a related field.
• Experience as a subject matter expert, in educational content development, or with digital learning products.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional Product, Design, Development, or platform teams.
• Strong leadership, project management, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate scientific, pedagogical, and customer needs into structured requirements and review content for accuracy, usability, and learning quality.
• Understanding of accessibility requirements, including WCAG or similar standards.

Nice to have

• Experience working across multiple subject areas or coordinating SME teams in different domains.
• Familiarity with Jira, YouTrack, or similar workflow and ticketing tools.
• Experience with inclusive learning design and accessibility standards.
