Senior Analytics Engineer (AI)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid schedule with office attendance on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Wednesdays and Fridays offer more flexibility for focused work. English is the working language.

What you will do

• Design, build, test, and own complex end-to-end data models in the dbt-powered Unified Data Model.
• Refactor historically messy datasets, including Salesforce data, into clean models serving as a single source of truth.
• Partner with Product, Go-to-Market, and business teams to uncover problems and deliver actionable, data-driven insights.
• Build a self-service analytics culture by guiding stakeholders toward scalable solutions in Omni.
• Implement AI data agents and foundations for automated reporting and alerting on key business metrics.
• Maintain data quality and governance practices, mentor junior engineers, and improve team processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering or an equivalent role.
• Expert-level SQL and dbt experience designing, deploying, and maintaining complex production data models.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of B2B SaaS metrics, including ARR, NRR, churn, and product-led growth.
• Highly consultative stakeholder management skills with proactive ownership of initiatives from discovery through delivery.
• Hands-on experience integrating modern GenAI tools, including Claude Code, into analytics workflows.
• Fluent English, both verbal and written, is required.
