What you will do

• Develop and roll out tools that provide visibility into the production trading network.
• Work with site reliability engineers and senior technologists throughout the placement.
• Support applications through the full lifecycle, from initial specification to production.
• Collaborate on live infrastructure challenges, improvements, and technical issues affecting trading systems.
• Learn how hardware and software technologies are used to build and maintain trading systems.

Requirements

• Currently studying a STEM-related degree at an Irish university.
• Work placement must be required as part of the degree course.
• Legal eligibility to work in Ireland is required.
• Good understanding of the TCP/IP protocol suite.
• Familiarity with networking technologies such as switching and routing.
• Understanding of hardware internals, including RAID, RAM, buses, NICs, and CPU architecture; knowledge of an object-oriented language such as Java or C# is desirable.
