Software Engineer (AI) (AI Agents/LLMs): Design, develop, and optimize intelligent AI agents that reason, plan, and execute multi-step tasks with an accent on agent architectures, tool integration, and human-AI collaboration. Focus on building reliable evaluation and monitoring systems, integrating agents into products, and applying reinforcement learning, planning algorithms, and decision-making systems.
Location: Taipei, Taiwan; onsite or remote arrangement

What you will do
- Design and implement AI agent architectures that understand requests, reason through complex problems, and execute multi-step plans.
- Develop frameworks for agents to interact with tools, APIs, and external services.
- Build mechanisms for human-AI collaboration, including clarification, feedback, and guidance.
- Optimize agent reliability, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Build monitoring and evaluation systems to measure agent performance and identify improvements.
- Integrate AI agents into products and workflows in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience building AI/ML systems, with a focus on autonomous agents.
- Strong programming skills in Python and Golang.
- Experience with large language models such as GPT, Claude, or Gemini, and prompt engineering.
- Knowledge of LangGraph, AutoGen, or similar agent frameworks; reinforcement learning, planning algorithms, and decision-making systems.
- Experience with agent deployment infrastructure, workflow orchestration, and system design.
Nice to have
- Experience developing production-grade AI agents for real-world environments.
- Background in cognitive architectures or symbolic reasoning systems.
- Knowledge of AI agent safety, alignment, retrieval-augmented generation, and evaluation frameworks.
- Open-source agent project or research contributions.
- ACM, NOI, or other algorithm competition awards.
