Senior Modern Workplace Engineer (Microsoft Intune)

Location: Cologne, Germany; remote work possible. Work from anywhere in the EU is available for up to 20 days per year.

What you will do

• Own the Modern Workplace roadmap and define the next steps for the workplace transformation.
• Lead the transition from SCCM to Microsoft Intune and establish device management standards and governance.
• Manage endpoint strategies across Windows and macOS, including software deployment, patch management, and device lifecycles.
• Drive adoption and optimization of Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• Develop automation and continuous improvement initiatives with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.
• Provide best-practice guidance and help build the Modern Workplace function.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Modern Workplace, Endpoint Management, or Workplace Engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Intune and experience implementing or managing modern endpoint environments.
• Knowledge of SCCM, cloud-based device management, and Microsoft 365 services.
• Experience with Windows and macOS endpoint environments, device deployment, patch management, or lifecycle strategies.
• Ability to build and improve services, share knowledge, and influence workplace strategy.
