Director, AV Technical Operations (Audio Visual)

Location: Greater Toronto Area, Canada, with regular presence at project sites and travel within the market as required.

Salary: 125,000–143,500 CAD annually

What you will do

• Lead technical operations, PMO, field, and delivery teams responsible for project execution and installation delivery.
• Partner with Sales leadership to align delivery capacity, resourcing, execution strategy, and client commitments with pipeline demand.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks and cost issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate resources across concurrent projects and serve as the escalation point for delivery, staffing, and client concerns.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Configuration & Commissioning, and Fabrication teams across project handoffs and execution.
• Coach and develop managers and multidisciplinary delivery teams while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; business, engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in AV systems integration, media or broadcast integration, project management, or IT services in a complex delivery environment.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience managing managers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of project management, installation, and field execution workflows.
• Experience managing financial performance, including margins, cost control, and forecasts.
• Strong communication, leadership, planning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• PMP, CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D certification.
• Experience with operational improvement or change management initiatives.
• Ability to partner effectively with Sales, Engineering, and Operations leadership.
