TL;DR

Location: Fort Worth, Texas, United States; field-based work conducted on-site at customer locations

Salary: $19.53–$34.18 per hour

What you will do

  • Commission, program, configure graphics and communications links, test, troubleshoot, and service HVAC control systems on assigned projects.
  • Document point-to-point verification, sequence-of-operations validation, and project close-out requirements.
  • Serve as the direct customer contact while diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at customer locations.
  • Coordinate with team leaders and customers on installation and repair requirements, materials, scheduling, and potential issues.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Trane products, including installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems.
  • Follow strict safety and asset-accountability procedures and remain flexible to work overtime, including occasional overnight stays.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or formal training is preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience with HVAC controls systems, including commissioning and programming.
  • Previous experience with DDC control systems; Niagara experience is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld devices such as smartphones and iPads.
  • Valid driver's license held for at least 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations or preventable collisions in the previous three years.
  • Ability to work safely at customer sites, including rooftops and ladders, wear required protective equipment, handle physical duties, and work in variable weather and other hazardous conditions.
