FHIR Camp 2026 (FHIR)

Location: Evolution Cascais-Estoril Hotel, Portugal. The event runs from November 4–6, 2026, with on-site accommodation encouraged for the full community experience.

hirify.global organizes a technical FHIR community event for people building, authoring, or running real FHIR projects.

What you will do

• Participate in Birds of a Feather sessions focused on real-world FHIR implementation questions.
• Join moderated panel discussions and open-floor lightning talks.
• Share FHIR projects, tools, implementation lessons, and discussion topics.
• Build AI agents on top of FHIR during the full-day hackathon and prototype against real FHIR resources.
• Explore healthcare interoperability, data quality, validation, analytics, authorization, consent, and FHIR architecture.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with a real FHIR project that is being built, authored, or operated.
• Technical leadership or standards experience, such as CTO/CIO, solution architect, product or tech lead, gov-tech leader, FHIR evangelist, or working-group driver.
• Concrete projects and proposed topics should be provided during the application.
• Sales and marketing profiles are not a fit because the event is focused on technical participation.

Hiring process

• Apply for one of 80 seats and describe the FHIR project and idea to test.
• Applications are reviewed by an FHIR architect.
• If selected, receive a personal invitation and payment link; the ticket is confirmed after payment.
