Programme Manager (Ecommerce)

Location: Hybrid in Faro, Lisbon, or Porto, Portugal; teams work in the office an average of four days a week.

What you will do

• Lead delivery across complex programmes, ensuring goals, quality standards, budgets, and timelines are achieved.
• Analyse and mitigate programme risks, manage dependencies between projects and workstreams, and produce programme-level reports.
• Define and implement programme governance, standards, and ways of working throughout the project lifecycle.
• Plan and manage resources, including requests, commitments, fulfilment, and potential project end dates.
• Build relationships with client stakeholders and internal teams, translating client vision into an effective programme plan.
• Support and line-manage project managers while managing third-party vendors on behalf of clients.

Requirements

• At least six years of software application development project management experience.
• Experience managing multiple teams and workstreams, with team management experience of at least 20 people.
• Proven delivery of an ecommerce migration or re-platform project, including medium- to large-scale fixed-price delivery.
• At least three years of experience in Agile environments, with knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and transitions from Waterfall to Agile.
• Strong risk, stakeholder, negotiation, commercial, budget, resource, and multi-vendor management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English, proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint, and a relevant BA/BS degree as an advantage.
