Sateliot is a Barcelona-based satellite company operating a 5G NTN satellite constellation that provides NB-IoT connectivity through mobile network operators.
What you will do
- Monitor the satellite and ground network service, feeder and service links, and routes to mobile network operator partners.
- Triage alarms using established runbooks and apply documented first-line responses.
- Own incident tickets through resolution, maintain accurate records, and ensure closure criteria are met.
- Communicate with mobile network operator partners during service-impacting incidents.
- Escalate incidents with clear context and conduct rigorous shift handovers.
- Support maintenance, releases, commissioning activities, knowledge-base updates, and operational improvements.
Requirements
- Technical education in telecommunications, networking, computing, or a comparable field.
- Entry-level profile with up to 2 years of experience.
- Working knowledge of IP addressing, routing, and network troubleshooting.
- Comfort working with the Linux command line.
- Strong attention to detail, disciplined execution of procedures, and clear written communication.
- Availability to work in a shift rota; Spanish and English required.
Nice to have
- Experience in a NOC, service desk, or continuous-operations environment.
- Familiarity with OpenSearch, Grafana, Jira, Python, or Bash.
- Interest in mobile networks, 3GPP, NB-IoT, satellite systems, SS7, Diameter, or AI-assisted operational tooling.
