Location: Galway, County Galway, Ireland; hybrid
Salary: €65,600–€98,400 per year, plus eligibility for the Incentive Plan.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain automation tools and frameworks for software verification.
- Lead and expand system-level test automation across the cardiac care software ecosystem.
- Design and evolve CI/CD automation, including parallel and distributed test execution.
- Partner with R&D, software engineering, Quality, and DevOps teams to define verification strategies for regulated medical device software.
- Support test infrastructure setup, validation, maintenance, and generation of test evidence.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and drive continuous improvement in a matrixed organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience with software or system-level testing and test automation.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in a regulated medical device development environment and meet quality and compliance requirements.
Nice to have
- Proficiency with C# and .NET.
- Experience with Appium, other automation frameworks, hybrid iOS applications, the DOM, or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485, IEC 62304, ISO 14971, or 21 CFR 820.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, Azure DevOps, or GitHub.
- Experience designing software for medical devices.
