Location: Hybrid in Galway, County Galway, Ireland
Salary: €65,600–€98,400 per year, plus eligibility for the Incentive Plan.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain automation tools and frameworks for software verification.
- Lead and expand system-level test automation across the Patient Care Systems software ecosystem.
- Design and evolve CI/CD automation, including parallel and distributed test execution.
- Partner with R&D, software engineering, quality, and DevOps teams to define verification strategies and meet regulatory requirements.
- Support test infrastructure setup, validation, maintenance, risk-based testing, and test evidence generation.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and drive continuous improvement using lean principles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience with software or system-level testing and test automation.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to support quality and compliance in a regulated medical device environment.
Nice to have
- Proficiency with C# and .NET.
- Experience with Appium or other automation frameworks, including hybrid iOS applications.
- Experience with the Document Object Model, JavaScript, Azure DevOps, or GitHub.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485, IEC 62304, ISO 14971, 21 CFR 820, Agile methodologies, and medical device software design.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
