Lead Test Automation Developer (Python/Robot Framework)

Location: Tampere, Finland; flexible working hours and partial remote work available.

Salary: €5,000–€6,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Maintain and develop the Robot Framework adaptation for the hirify.global 9LV CMS.
• Coach and educate test automation engineers on framework development and maintenance.
• Guide test engineers in writing high-quality, maintainable automated test cases and suites.
• Contribute to test case development in new areas and collaborate with automation colleagues across hirify.global sites.
• Participate in designing and potentially developing dashboards and utilities for test metrics and real-time reporting.
• Work with the Technical Product Owner to maintain the test automation backlog.

Requirements

• Strong Python programming skills and solid hands-on experience with Robot Framework.
• Experience developing and maintaining large-scale test automation frameworks, including reusable design patterns and maintainable test development.
• Experience with Ubuntu Linux, command-line tools, scripting, Docker, and containerized test environments.
• Experience with Grafana or similar reporting and visualization platforms, including dashboard design, test metrics, and real-time reporting.
• Experience with Git, collaborative software development, test strategy, quality engineering principles, and automation best practices.
• Fluent Finnish and English are required. The selected applicant must complete a drug test and obtain approved security clearance under the Finnish Security Clearance Act 726/2014.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, continuous testing, and test environment orchestration.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted test automation and modern testing approaches.
• Experience with complex, distributed, or mission-critical systems.
• Previous experience leading technical initiatives and driving framework evolution.
