Salary: $75,000–$200,000 annually

What you will do

• Review, analyze, and underwrite commercial property and casualty risks submitted by producers.
• Evaluate applications, inspection reports, insurance maps, financial information, and property conditions to assess risk.
• Prepare rates, quotes, written indications, binders, and terms for new and renewal business.
• Develop relationships with insurance agents, brokers, carriers, producers, and internal departments.
• Process new business efficiently while supporting revenue growth, retention, and profitability.
• Broker or negotiate risk placements using binding authorities and company facilities.

Requirements

• Valid P&C license.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 0–5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional telephone manner and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Successful completion of assigned educational courses, professional designations, and licensing examinations.
