Customer Support Specialist

Location: Remote within the United States; shifts follow Eastern Time

Salary: $25 per hour, 40 hours per week; overtime eligible

What you will do

• Support users through live chat and email using Intercom.
• Resolve time-sensitive account, transaction, and platform issues during high-volume NFL and NBA game periods.
• Use internal administration tools to verify accounts, investigate transactions, and troubleshoot issues.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with frustrated power users and newcomers, de-escalating concerns when needed.
• Identify recurring issues and contribute feedback to improve macros, FAQs, and internal documentation.
• Use judgment to resolve non-standard situations and escalate issues appropriately.

Requirements

• Strong written communication and the ability to represent the brand voice with confidence and empathy.
• Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective in high-volume, high-pressure environments.
• Comfort working across multiple tools and support channels.
• Knowledge of betting lines, spreads, exchange mechanics, and basic market movement, or the ability to learn them quickly.
• Availability for a Thursday–Monday night and weekend schedule, or a Monday–Friday day shift, based on business needs.
• Ability to work according to Eastern Time shifts.
