Lead Business Analytics & Reporting Analyst (Retail Banking Pricing, Products, Performance & Risk): Building executive dashboards and reporting tools for retail banking pricing, product performance, customer profitability, banker performance, and risk with an accent on SQL-driven insights, process automation, and regulatory compliance. Focus on analyzing large datasets, improving reporting workflows, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to support strategic decisions and frontline performance.
Location: Hybrid in Buffalo, New York; four days in-office per week at 345 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14203. Candidates must live within commuting distance.
Salary: $74,600–$124,400 annual (USD)

What you will do
- Develop and evolve executive-level dashboards and reporting tools covering sales performance, product accuracy, and customer outcomes.
- Analyze large datasets to identify customer and business insights, trends, and opportunities across pricing, forecasting, and competitive positioning.
- Streamline reporting processes, implement automation solutions, and improve operational workflows to reduce errors and increase efficiency.
- Partner with regional and market managers to provide insights on goals, performance, coaching opportunities, customer service, and regulatory alignment.
- Lead cross-functional projects with business partners, technology teams, and vendors, including system implementations, issue resolution, audits, and compliance testing.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance supporting skill development, performance growth, and collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in business analytics, reporting, or strategic operations.
- Ability to work four days per week in the Buffalo, New York office and live within commuting distance.
- Strong business acumen, communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and strategic problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights, navigate ambiguity, and resolve conflicting viewpoints.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in SQL and understanding of relational databases.
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx.
- Experience creating executive-level dashboards and presenting compelling data stories.
- Background in customer insights, product performance, process improvement, or strategic operations.
