Mid-Level Business Development Manager (IT and Consulting Services)

Location: Porto, Portugal; hybrid work with the possibility of working remotely 2 days a week

What you will do

• Maintain and develop relationships with clients, partners, and vendors.
• Expand the Business Consulting Unit by securing new projects and clients.
• Ensure the unit has suitable consultant resources to meet project objectives.
• Support recruitment for new unit members.
• Assess unit performance against objectives and report to the Sales Director.
• Advise clients on problems, recommend solutions, and represent the company at meet-ups, events, and conferences.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in account management or business development within IT outsourcing.
• A master’s degree; IT-related studies are preferred.
• Experience conducting structured account reviews and converting client feedback into internal improvements.
• Consultative approach to understanding client needs and positioning suitable IT profiles and solutions.
• Strong negotiation, emotional intelligence, proactive attitude, goal orientation, and self-driven working style.
• Fluent Portuguese and English are required.
