Automation Specialist (Fintech)

Location: Permanent work from home with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Australian Eastern Time, including a 1-hour unpaid break. Work schedule and timezone: Sydney, NSW.

What you will do

• Identify manual workflows and implement automation that improves efficiency, consistency, scalability, and execution speed.
• Set up, optimize, and maintain CRM and workflow systems, including lead capture, routing, follow-ups, notifications, and task assignments.
• Automate marketing, sales, client onboarding, pipeline tracking, reporting, and customer journeys from inquiry through conversion.
• Build and maintain lightweight integrations between CRM, email marketing, communication, and workflow platforms using automation tools and APIs.
• Build dashboards and reporting workflows to track lead response times, workflow efficiency, and operational performance.
• Document automations, workflows, and system processes while continuously optimizing them based on business needs.

Requirements

• Experience in business process automation, operations support, CRM administration, or workflow optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Zapier, Make, HubSpot, GoHighLevel, ActiveCampaign, Monday.com, or Airtable.
• Strong understanding of CRM systems, automation workflows, and operational processes across marketing, sales, or operations.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, and data flows.
• Experience in fintech, lending, direct response, or high-volume operational businesses.
• Familiarity with reporting dashboards, workflow analytics, and no-code or low-code automation environments.
• Basic technical troubleshooting capability.
