Location: Vancouver Campus, Vancouver, BC, Canada; hybrid work arrangement
Salary: CAD $7,158.42–$10,292.25 monthly

What you will do
- Provide individual and group career advising and coaching to Applied Science co-op students before, during, and after work terms.
- Monitor co-op placements through site visits and check-ins, evaluate student performance, and resolve workplace concerns.
- Design, teach, and assess pre-employment and career-readiness curriculum, workshops, orientations, and recruiting events.
- Build relationships with local, national, and international employers and alumni to create academically appropriate co-op opportunities.
- Lead student recruitment and admission activities, including applications, interviews, criteria, and acceptance decisions.
- Support strategic planning, program evaluation, budgeting, accreditation reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives, including the integration of artificial intelligence.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline and at least four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills, with strong organization and prioritization abilities.
- Experience or knowledge in career advising and coaching, conflict resolution, project management, event planning, or international work programs.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with students, faculty, employers, alumni, and external partners.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Teams, OneDrive, Zoom, and database management.
- Valid BC Driver’s License, access to a vehicle, ability to travel, and flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends may be required.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree.
- Applied Science-related academic background.
- Knowledge of co-operative education, human resource management, or relevant industry experience.
- Expertise in equity, diversity, and inclusion.
