Executive Sourcer (Automotive)

Location: Foster City, CA; Workplace: Hybrid

Base salary: $123,000–$161,000 per year, plus potential RSUs, stock appreciation rights, and sign-on bonus.

What you will do

• Research relevant industries and create data-driven talent maps across robotics, AI, automotive, software, hardware, and operations.
• Define search criteria and build sourcing strategies for niche and hard-to-fill Director, VP, and C-Suite roles.
• Develop bespoke outreach campaigns to engage passive executive candidates and represent the Zoox mission.
• Conduct high-level candidate screens covering qualifications, leadership capability, cultural fit, and motivation.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with potential future leaders.

Requirements

• 6+ years of total sourcing experience, including at least 1 year focused on executive search at the Director level or above.
• Demonstrated expertise in proactive executive sourcing, talent mapping, and pipeline development.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including comfort influencing senior stakeholders and candidates.
• Ability to understand domains such as autonomy, hardware, software, general and administrative functions, and operations.

Nice to have

• Interest in the autonomous and electric vehicle industry.
• Experience using Lever ATS to build metrics, sourcing strategies, and talent pipelines.
