What you will do
- Maintain physical data centre infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking equipment, environmental controls, and network monitoring.
- Support domain renewals, certificate lifecycle tasks, and basic DNS record configuration for A, CNAME, and MX records.
- Test SaaS application features against defined test cases and provide first-level support for tools such as Gmail and Slack.
- Execute disaster recovery runbooks, participate in scheduled recovery tests, and escalate related alerts and issues.
- Apply security, privacy, ethics, and corporate compliance procedures while contributing to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Sound knowledge of IT operations, infrastructure, or systems administration.
- Methodical problem-solving skills for routine and moderately complex issues, with sound judgment about when to escalate.
- Awareness of security, privacy, ethics, and organizational compliance standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–4 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or systems administration.
- Effective communication and collaboration with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and partners.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- CompTIA Network+, Server+, or ITIL Foundation certification.
- Experience administering SaaS applications such as Google Workspace or Slack.
