What you will do
- Support employee relations cases, including disciplinary matters, investigations, performance improvement plans, and conduct issues.
- Advise managers on employee relations processes, performance management, policy interpretation, and employee concerns.
- Coordinate onboarding, performance management, offboarding, and benefits administration activities.
- Maintain HR case documentation and support labor compliance, audits, and reporting.
- Support recognition programs, engagement initiatives, local events, and global or regional talent programs.
- Escalate complex, high-risk, or legally sensitive cases to senior talent leaders.
Requirements
- 2β4 years of HR experience, including at least 1 year focused on employee relations or HR operations.
- Working knowledge of Kenyan labor law, including the Employment Act, 2007.
- Experience supporting disciplinary cases, investigations, performance improvement plans, and workplace grievances.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, documentation, confidentiality, and judgment skills.
- Proficiency with G-Suite and HRIS platforms, with interest in process automation and emerging technologies.
- Familiarity with LLMs, conversational AI, prompt engineering, and agentic AI concepts; a bachelor's degree in human resources, industrial psychology, or a related field is required.
Nice to have
- CHRP(K) certification or active progress toward certification.
- Experience in a global or matrix organization.
- Familiarity with HR systems, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
