What you will do
- Manage disciplinary cases, investigations, performance improvement plans, grievances, and behavioral or conduct issues.
- Advise and coach managers on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, and employee concerns.
- Coordinate onboarding, performance management, offboarding, and benefits administration support.
- Maintain HR case documentation and support labor compliance, audits, and reporting.
- Support employee recognition, engagement, culture, team events, and global or regional talent initiatives.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of HR experience, including at least 3 years focused on employee relations or HR operations.
- Proven experience handling disciplinary cases, investigations, performance improvement plans, and workplace grievances.
- Strong working knowledge of Uganda’s Employment Act, 2007 and Uganda labor regulations.
- Experience advising managers, conducting interviews, gathering evidence, preparing reports, and handling sensitive information confidentially.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field, plus CHRP(K) certification.
- Proficiency with G Suite and HRIS platforms, with experience in process automation and emerging technologies; familiarity with LLMs, conversational AI, prompt engineering, and agentic AI.

- Familiarity with HR systems and exposure to performance management or employee engagement initiatives.
