TL;DR
Senior Systems Integrator (Tactical Communications): Integrating and supporting tactical communications, network, and field computing systems for Special Operations Forces with an accent on MANET radios, TAK deployments, and secure network architectures. Focus on configuring Linux and Docker-based systems, conducting interoperability testing, supporting field deployments, and troubleshooting complex network and PKI environments.
Location: Hurlburt Field AFB, Florida, United States; travel up to 25%
Salary: $90,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do
- Support fielding, synchronization, acquisition, vendor coordination, and technical integration activities across STC, FCD-W, and Watchtower programs.
- Integrate new hardware and software with existing tactical network architectures for demonstrations, testing, and operational use.
- Configure and support MANET radios, TAK ecosystem deployments, TAK Server, satellite, LTE, router, and switch environments.
- Conduct interoperability testing and provide technical guidance to program stakeholders and end users.
- Deliver new equipment, on-the-job, and sustainment training during exercises, RDT&E events, and operational deployments.
- Manage equipment inventory, maintenance records, shipments, repairs, lifecycle tracking, and operational readiness.
Requirements
- Active DoD Secret clearance required.
- Experience integrating tactical communications, network, and field computing systems.
- Experience configuring wideband and narrowband radios, network hardware, and PKI-based secure communications.
- Experience administering Linux-based systems, Docker containers, proxy services, and server automation.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues, including self-signed certificate environments.
- Ability to work at Hurlburt Field AFB, Florida, with up to 25% travel.
