Director - Integrated Reporting (Workiva) (Workiva and financial reporting transformation): Growing and leading an integrated reporting consulting practice across North America, with an accent on business development, executive client relationships, Workiva partnerships, and offering development. Focus on originating complex consulting opportunities, commercializing SEC and investor reporting solutions, and building a scalable team and practice.

Location: North America; US-based and Toronto-based hiring options are specified.

Salary: $180,000–$250,000 USD for US-based hires or $225,000–$270,000 CAD for Toronto-based hires, plus a variable bonus.

What you will do

  • Grow the Workiva and Integrated Reporting practice through business development, account expansion, and new market opportunities.
  • Originate and lead consulting opportunities through discovery, solutioning, proposals, pricing, and close.
  • Build executive relationships with CFOs, Controllers, Heads of Reporting, and Finance Transformation leaders.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and commercialize offerings across SEC, external, multi-entity, fund, investor, and management reporting.
  • Strengthen Alpha's relationship with Workiva and drive joint opportunities.
  • Provide executive oversight for strategic client engagements and collaborate across Finance, EPM, Data, and Technology practices.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of consulting or relevant industry experience in financial services, financial reporting, finance transformation, or enterprise technology.
  • Proven business development and revenue-generation experience, including complex consulting sales cycles.
  • Experience with Workiva or adjacent finance technology and reporting solutions.
  • Strong understanding of SEC reporting, multi-entity reporting, fund and investor reporting, and management reporting.
  • Experience developing offerings, go-to-market strategies, proposals, pricing, and commercial structures.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Technology, or a related field.

Nice to have

  • Established relationships in the Workiva ecosystem or financial services marketplace.
  • Previous Workiva consulting, implementation, solution consulting, or business development experience.
  • Experience at a Big 4 or leading consulting organization.
  • Background in asset management, private equity, private credit, real estate, banking, or insurance.
  • CPA, CMA, or another relevant finance or accounting qualification.
