Cyber Security Specialist

Location: Remote; working hours from 2:00 AM to 10:00 AM EST

Salary: from $1,500 USD per month before taxes, depending on experience and qualifications

Club Support Inc. is a Canadian IT company providing computer services, day-to-day IT support, and IT-related purchasing for the club industry.

What you will do

• Design, test, and implement security policies and guidelines.
• Conduct vulnerability and penetration testing, security audits, and breach investigations.
• Analyze security incidents to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.
• Monitor and respond to security alerts using intrusion detection systems, SIEM tools, and other security technologies.
• Manage phishing campaigns and maintain records of incidents, policies, procedures, and configurations.
• Develop risk metrics and prepare reports and documentation for management and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or a similar role.
• Experience with cybersecurity tools, firewall administration, intrusion detection systems, SIEM, and antivirus solutions.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
• Experience advising multiple teams on security risks and challenges.
• Strong English verbal communication skills are required.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, prioritization, coordination, and independent working skills.
