TL;DR
Data Science Manager (AI/ML): Developing advanced statistical and machine learning analyses of marketing and field-force promotional data to support commercial decision-making with an accent on large-scale data analysis, experimental design, and stakeholder consulting. Focus on designing novel analytical projects, implementing hands-on Python and ML workflows, and delivering rigorous insights for the North America commercial organization.
Location: Mexico City; must work from the assigned office 2–3 days per week or as needed by the business.

What you will do
- Develop objective secondary data analyses of marketing and field-force promotional efforts.
- Design and execute customized analytical projects to solve unstructured, high-priority business problems.
- Apply statistical and data-mining techniques to large datasets to identify trends, facts, and opportunities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders in the Chief Marketing Officer organization to support commercial decision-making.
- Collaborate on experimental design and maintain statistical and methodological rigor across proofs of concept.
- Perform hands-on coding and experimental work using Python, R, and SQL; communicate findings to business stakeholders.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree and at least 4–5 years of experience as a data analyst and project lead across diverse projects.
- STEM background with quantitative emphasis, such as statistics, computer science, operations research, economics, engineering, or actuarial science.
- Fluent English, written and verbal.
- Strong hands-on Python coding skills and working knowledge of PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins, plus basic experience with AWS, Azure, Snowflake, or GCP.
- Understanding of machine learning and AI fundamentals, experimental design, train/test splits, evaluation metrics, and common modeling pitfalls.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field or a quantitative MBA.
- Experience in pharmaceutical commercial analytics or management consulting.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical healthcare space, including IQVIA and Rx/Sales data.
- Container experience with Docker.
