TL;DR
Java Developer (Application Security) (Java/Python/CI/CD): Developing and maintaining application security frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and automated vulnerability-management tools for financial technology products with an accent on security analysis, vulnerability validation, and secure release processes. Focus on assessing exploitability, improving automated scanning and reporting, and coordinating remediation across teams using Java, Python, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and related technologies.
Location: 16th Floor, AIA Tower, 8767 Paseo de Roxas, 1226 Makati City, Philippines; hybrid and flexible working available.

What you will do
- Analyse, design, and develop application security requirements with product development, customers, business analysts, and software partners.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation tools for vulnerability management, security reporting, and development workflows.
- Monitor automated builds, analyse security warnings, and provide guidance or fixes.
- Track third-party library enrolment, updates, and removals using internal tools and Mend or similar solutions.
- Evaluate vulnerabilities, assess exploitability, investigate false positives, and develop potential fixes.
- Coordinate security actions, maintain release baselines, prepare risk documentation, and review compliance with internal security policies.
Requirements
- University degree in IT, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
- Senior-level engineering expertise with Python, Java, JavaScript, Gradle, and Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling.
- Knowledge of containerized applications and Kubernetes, OpenShift, or similar orchestration platforms.
- Understanding of security concepts, industry standards, vulnerability management, automated security scanning, and effective communication with non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Exposure to financial markets and understanding of financial products.
- Experience with Mend or similar vulnerability-management solutions.
