Performance Transformation | Operations – Engagement Manager (m/f/d) – Germany (Supply Chain and Digital Operations)

Location: Germany. Hybrid working is available, combining mobile work with office collaboration; some teams may schedule weekly anchor days.

What you will do

• Lead operations transformation engagements from initial problem definition through solution development and implementation planning.
• Guide project teams through structured problem-solving processes and ensure recommendations are correct, practical, relevant, and cohesive.
• Apply strategic, technical, and operational expertise across procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, process operations, and digital operations.
• Use advanced analytics and machine learning approaches to improve operational performance and support digital transformation.
• Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues while communicating findings and recommendations clearly.
• Travel as required for client engagements.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a top-tier strategy consulting firm or similar organization with an operations focus.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills, including the ability to identify trends, draw conclusions, and present recommendations from sophisticated analyses.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English and German is required.
• An undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program.
• Initiative, creativity, analytical aptitude, and the ability to work respectfully and effectively in a talented team.
