TL;DR
Cloud Infrastructure Architect (Fintech) (OCI/AWS/Azure): Designing scalable, secure, and compliant cloud infrastructure solutions for enterprise financial-services clients with an accent on presales architecture, resilience, and regulated environments. Focus on translating business and technical requirements into end-to-end architectures, preparing RFP responses and cost estimates, and presenting solutions to executive stakeholders.
Location: Strada Regina 40, 6934 Bioggio, Switzerland; hybrid and flexible working.

What you will do
- Collaborate with Sales, KAMs, Solution Consultants, and Solution Managers to qualify opportunities and define technical sales strategies.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and compliant cloud architectures.
- Design end-to-end infrastructure solutions covering compute, networking, storage, security, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Prepare RFPs, RFIs, technical proposals, effort estimates, sizing, pricing, and TCO/ROI analyses.
- Participate in technical workshops, client presentations, and executive-level discussions.
- Align solution designs with delivery, security, and compliance teams while improving presales methodologies and sharing knowledge.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or solution architecture.
- Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud platform: OCI preferred, or AWS or Azure.
- Experience designing highly available and resilient architectures, with solid knowledge of networking, security, IAM, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform, and with RFP/RFI responses and technical documentation.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or insurance within regulated environments.
- Fluent English, written and spoken; bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, DORA, or similar compliance frameworks.
- OCI, AWS, or Azure certifications.
- German, French, or Italian language skills.
- Master’s degree in a related field.
