Forward Deployed Engineer (AI): Building production AI applications with Claude models and delivering enterprise deployment artifacts such as MCP servers, sub-agents, and agent skills with an accent on LLM application engineering, customer workflows, and safe, reliable deployment. Focus on developing and scaling agent-based solutions, codifying repeatable deployment patterns, and solving complex business problems directly within customer environments.
Location: Paris, France. Hybrid policy: staff are expected to be in an office at least 25% of the time. Frequent travel to customer sites, approximately 25–50%.

What you will do
- Build production applications with Claude models inside customer systems.
- Deliver technical artifacts such as MCP servers, sub-agents, and agent skills for production workflows.
- Support enterprise deployment of Anthropic products and identify repeatable deployment patterns.
- Share deployment insights with Product and Engineering teams.
- Build long-term customer relationships and identify new AI deployment opportunities.
- Travel frequently to customer sites and represent Anthropic's mission in the field.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role, such as Forward Deployed Engineer or Software Engineer with consulting experience.
- Native French and fluent English proficiency required.
- Production experience with LLMs, advanced prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks, and deployment at scale.
- Strong programming skills with proficiency in Python; experience with TypeScript or Java is beneficial.
- Experience shipping production applications and communicating technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, and experience in a relevant field.
Nice to have
- Experience in financial services, healthcare, life sciences, or another enterprise vertical.
- Experience with enterprise IT systems or AI deployment patterns.
- Background as a technical founder.
