TL;DR
Global Operations Team Lead (AI data operations): Leading distributed video data contributor and quality reviewer teams while auditing egocentric video datasets for usability, camera alignment, and data compliance with an accent on team performance, hardware troubleshooting, and operational quality. Focus on coaching contributors, reconciling verified uploads with payroll records, coordinating onboarding and equipment, and preventing privacy and production issues.

Location: Philippines; initially remote, transitioning to a hybrid or office-based setup in Metro Manila, 2–4 days per week.

hirify.global builds an HR, payroll, and hiring platform for hourly workforces and also operates a robotics team producing large-scale egocentric video datasets for AI model training.

What you will do

  • Lead, mentor, and monitor Video Data Contributors and Quality Reviewers while tracking output, retention, and error metrics.
  • Audit uploaded footage for usability, camera positioning, lighting, recording angles, and data compliance.
  • Troubleshoot wearable multi-camera, head-strap, smartphone mount, cloud upload, and other hardware or technical issues.
  • Coordinate contributor screening, onboarding, technical readiness checks, equipment setup, and local lab activities.
  • Reconcile contributor hours and approved video uploads, prepare ready-to-pay reports, and resolve payout discrepancies.
  • Update operational guidelines and training materials with the Operations Manager based on recurring quality issues.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Team Lead or Senior Specialist in BPO, AI data annotation, marketplace operations, or tech operations.
  • Hands-on experience with smartphones, multi-camera hardware, recording wearables, or similar technical equipment.
  • Experience auditing visual or data-driven deliverables with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to work with distributed or gig-workforce structures in a high-growth startup environment.
  • Agreement to transition from remote work to a hybrid or office-based setup in Metro Manila, 2–4 days per week, and comply with the strict moonlighting policy.

Nice to have

  • Experience in AI or computer vision data collection, data labeling, media production, or media QA.
  • Experience with hardware tracking or logistics management.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in the United States and the Philippines.
