TL;DR
System Engineer (Containerization) (Kubernetes/Cloud Infrastructure): Designing and delivering Kubernetes-based container platforms for enterprise client projects with an accent on cluster architecture, infrastructure as code, security, networking, and storage. Focus on building repeatable Terraform deployments, integrating CI/CD pipelines, validating solutions through prototypes, and troubleshooting project-level implementation challenges.
Location: Hybrid work in Bioggio, Switzerland

What you will do
- Design and implement Kubernetes cluster architectures for on-premise, cloud, and hybrid client projects.
- Build and deploy containerized application platforms using Kubernetes, Helm, and Operators.
- Develop reusable infrastructure-as-code templates with Terraform and HCL.
- Configure project environments, including security, networking, storage, and RBAC access controls.
- Integrate Kubernetes with CI/CD pipelines and support application teams during delivery.
- Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, implementation guides, prototypes, and pilot deployments.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in system engineering, cloud infrastructure, or project delivery.
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and operating Kubernetes clusters in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of Docker, containerd, Kubernetes, Linux environments, and automation scripting with Bash, Python, or Go.
- Experience with Terraform/HCL, Kubernetes automation, CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or Jenkins, and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with OCI, AWS, or Azure, plus monitoring, observability, and container platform operations.
- Excellent English communication skills and the ability to collaborate with architects, developers, project managers, and clients.
Nice to have
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or CKAD certification.
- Experience delivering infrastructure or cloud transformation projects in regulated enterprise environments.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and project collaboration skills.
