Data Scientist (Commercial Analytics) (Python/SQL/ML): Building scalable machine learning models, analytical datasets, and experimentation frameworks to improve churn prediction, revenue growth, retention, sales forecasting, and account planning with an accent on commercial analytics and predictive modelling. Focus on designing segmentation and forecasting solutions, integrating AI-driven methods, and translating complex findings into executive-level business recommendations.

What you will do
- Develop, deploy, and maintain machine learning models for customer churn, upsell and cross-sell propensity, whitespace opportunities, customer lifetime value, renewal risk, and sales forecasting.
- Apply statistical techniques, experimentation, classification, regression, clustering, segmentation, and time-series forecasting to identify commercial growth opportunities.
- Build analytical frameworks, scalable data pipelines, and analytical datasets supporting ARR growth, retention, expansion revenue, sales productivity, territory design, and account planning.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses of customer, product, and sales performance and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, Strategy, RevOps, data engineering, and senior stakeholders.
- Evaluate AI-driven and GenAI solutions, automate analytical processes, and contribute to modelling standards, governance, documentation, and reusable analytics assets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 8 years of experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Commercial Analytics, Revenue Analytics, Marketing Analytics, or a related discipline, including 4 years in a senior or scientist capacity.
- Strong proficiency in Python or R and advanced SQL skills across large and complex datasets.
- Experience building machine learning and predictive analytics solutions, including classification, regression, clustering, segmentation, forecasting, statistical testing, and experimentation.
- Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery and with Power BI or Tableau visualizations.
- Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management, influencing, communication, and business storytelling skills.
