Video Editor (Editorial)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid workplace with flexible hours including evenings and weekends aligned with the live sports calendar.

What you will do

• Edit match highlights, analytical packages, features, promotional campaigns, and reactive social media content.
• Manage end-to-end post-production, including cutting, basic color grading, sound design, audio mixing, and basic motion graphics.
• Optimize content for OTT, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and X using platform-specific formats, aspect ratios, and compression standards.
• Apply localization, subtitling, and versioning workflows for global content distribution.
• Collaborate with Producers, Journalists, Social Media Leads, and Creative Directors to create editorially aligned sports narratives.
• Source, organize, and archive footage in MAM systems while meeting sports rights, copyright, licensing, compliance, deadline, and technical requirements.

Requirements

• At least four years of professional video editing experience in sports media, broadcasting, a digital agency, or a major streaming/OTT platform.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition or equivalent audio post-production tools.
• Experience with cloud-based collaborative editing workflows and Media Asset Management systems.
• Knowledge of the global sports landscape, digital media trends, and platform-specific algorithms and best practices for short-form social video.
• Resume must be submitted in English; parts of the recruitment process will be conducted in English.
