PHP Developer (PHP)

Location: Vienna, Austria; hybrid work with up to five remote days per week.

Salary: €3,500 gross per month minimum for 38.5 hours per week, including a 20-hour overtime allowance.

What you will do

• Maintain, develop, and improve internal web applications and optimize their interfaces.
• Develop backend solutions and minor frontend changes for products and internal management tools.
• Onboard software projects and conceptualize solutions based on defined requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Analyze and resolve software errors, review documented issues, and participate in code reviews.
• Write automated tests and contribute to monitoring through error logs, aggregation, and metrics.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable IT or development qualification.
• Strong experience with PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, databases, version control tools, and PHP frameworks.
• Good understanding of English in a business context.
• Ability to work 38.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday in a hybrid setup.

Nice to have

• Experience with Zend Framework 1.1 or 2 and Laravel.
• Knowledge of React and jQuery.
• German skills, as the systems are in German.
