TL;DR
Chapter Lead, Clinical Design & Medical Director, CVRM (AI/Digital Health): Defining global clinical value strategy and leading CVRM medical direction for AI-enabled, data-driven healthcare solutions with an accent on cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic disease management, clinical workflow integration, and real-world adoption. Focus on translating unmet clinical needs into algorithm-enabled products, guiding evidence and validation strategies, and aligning product, data science, market access, and commercialization teams.
Location: Vienna, Austria; flexible working hours and a home office policy are available.
Salary: EUR 3,843 gross per month minimum under the Austrian collective agreement; higher compensation may be offered based on experience.

What you will do
- Define and execute the global vision and strategy for the Clinical Design Chapter across Roche Information Solutions.
- Lead and develop a global team of healthcare experts and medical directors.
- Own the clinical strategy and medical leadership for cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic disease solutions.
- Translate clinical needs and care pathway challenges into AI-enabled products, clinical decision support, and data-driven care models.
- Guide product design, clinical validation, evidence generation, workflow integration, and real-world adoption.
- Partner with product, data science, UX, commercial, market access, payer, and go-to-market teams on clinical and economic value propositions.
Requirements
- MD required, with specialization in Cardiology or Internal Medicine.
- Licensed physician with significant clinical practice experience; 8+ years required and board certification preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare, life sciences, digital health, or healthcare consulting.
- Deep expertise in cardiovascular, diabetes mellitus, and metabolic diseases; renal disease expertise is advantageous.
- Experience with digital health, AI-enabled solutions, clinical decision support, healthcare system integration, and real-world implementation.
- Proven experience leading global teams, influencing senior stakeholders, and working cross-functionally in complex organizations.
Nice to have
- MBA and/or PhD.
- Board certification.
- Experience in renal disease management.
