TL;DR
Chief Quality Officer (Aerospace): Defining and executing a global quality strategy for aerospace and advanced manufacturing products with an accent on quality systems, supplier quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance. Focus on leading cross-functional quality organizations, scaling production processes, driving CAPA and continuous improvement, and establishing predictive quality monitoring.
Location: On-site in Kyiv, Ukraine

What you will do
- Define and execute the company-wide quality strategy, objectives, KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting.
- Lead Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Supplier Quality, and Quality Management Systems across multiple locations.
- Own and improve the QMS, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100 or equivalent aerospace standards, and applicable defense requirements.
- Drive Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, CAPA, reliability engineering, failure analysis, and lessons-learned initiatives.
- Build supplier qualification, auditing, performance monitoring, and supplier development processes.
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Production, Customer Support, and executive leadership across the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of progressive Quality Management leadership experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing.
- Deep knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 19011, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, CAPA, AQAP, and root cause analysis.
- Experience with electronics manufacturing, mechanical assembly, complex system integration, supplier quality, and international supplier development.
- Proven success implementing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives during organizational growth and production scaling.
- Fluent English is required; Ukrainian is an advantage.
Nice to have
- ASQ CQE, CMQ/OE, Six Sigma Black Belt, or Master Black Belt certification.
- Experience in UAV, aerospace, robotics, defense, or advanced manufacturing.
- Experience in international, cross-functional organizations.
- Knowledge of software quality processes and systems engineering.
