Senior Systems Engineer - ATM

Location: Melbourne, Australia; hybrid work from home and office may be considered, with a 9-day fortnight option.

What you will do

• Support Air Traffic Management projects through tender, execution, and delivery phases.
• Manage engineering baselines and plan changes across the Systems Engineering lifecycle.
• Map customer requirements to ATM product solutions and develop requirements specifications.
• Participate in system design, integration, verification, and validation activities.
• Coordinate Safety, Security, and Quality activities across project engineering disciplines.
• Develop and review interface specifications, system design documents, technical reports, and acceptance test documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electronics Engineering.
• At least 8 years of Systems Engineering experience, preferably in Air Traffic Management or Defence.
• Experience with requirements management, system design, integration, testing, verification, and validation.
• Experience implementing quality assurance processes for software development in safety-related domains, such as DO-207A/ED153.
• Proficiency with advanced Systems Engineering tools, such as DOORS, and the ability to derive high-level requirements.
• Must be an Australian citizen and hold or be able to obtain Australian Defence Security Clearance at baseline level. Eligibility for chartered engineering status and state engineering registration in Queensland or Victoria is also required.

Nice to have

• Experience in the Air Traffic Management domain.
• Experience addressing whole-of-capability issues, including Integrated Logistics Support and supportability.
